We provide in-field Coefficient of Friction (COF) testing on all hard walkway surfaces to the new Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) minimum measurement levels as well as the Updated American National Standard (ANSI) A326.3-2021 “Test Method for Measuring Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF) of Hard Surface Flooring Materials.”
All slip test services are performed by our certificate holding professionally certified walkway safety auditor to ensure the compliance of your facility and the safety of your employees and your patrons. A complete and extensive report is provided for your risk management department, your facility’s floor safety program and your insurance files.

We test using the BOT-3000E Tribometer
The BOT-3000E Digital Tribometer is a state-of-the-art device that can accurately measure both the dynamic and static coefficient of friction (COF) of walkway surfaces. It is the only tribometer that is qualified for use with recognized ANSI A326.3-2021 standard, and it meets the requirements of ASTM F2508. We utilize this essential tool for any company or organization that values safety, wants to ensure and verify the slip resistance of their facility’s compliance of it’s walkway surfaces and insure safety of their employees and patrons.
